A Bike Co Kotulak Multi-Tool

The Kotulak is an affordable, reasonably lightweight multi-tool that features everything you would need to take apart or assemble your bike. According to Animal designer Dominic Biro, "The body of the tool works as a 3/8" breaker bar. And there is a 15mm pedal wrench attachment that is stored on the outside. It has a steel threaded cap on the end which holds all the other tool bits inside. You open it up to find a 17mm socket with extension for your wheels, a hex bit adapter with 8mm, 6mm, 5mm, 1/4" and 7/32" bits. There is also a chain breaker with an adjustable stop for 1/8" and 3/32" chains. Lastly there is a spoke wrench to true your wheels," says Biro, who designed the Kotulak alongside Animal designer Sean Curran.

While Mrs Merton, Mark Radcliffe, Chris Evans and others have gone to "bigger" things they all had their start, or were part of, the Frank Sidebottom phenomenon. Was it the paper maché head that held Timperley's favourite son back? Maybe, but if you can look past that, you'll find real unique comic genius at work here. Looking back at this material the songs are just... fantastic, you just can't pick a favourite (his own 'Blackpool Fool' or 'Anarchy in Timperley'?), although more dialogue would have been nice and material from his earier Regal Zonophone period is missed (esp. 'Sci-Fi' EP). Nonetheless as this is the only thing you can actually buy here apart from the Fantastic Shed Show VHS (another must-have) I urge you to get this. Frank still makes the odd appearance, there are rumours of new material as well as some re-issues so his story isn't over yet - and I have a feeling Frank will finally get the recogniction that he undoutably deserves. "Thank you".

We managed to get hold of three of the actual FEDERAL bikes that were used in the 2010 FEDERAL launch last week in London. These are fully tricked out to the max. The Lacey complete Dan was just about to wheel out of the Seveneties warehouse for himself when a secret member of our Northern Alliance distracted him for a moment, slapped a UPS label on it and whoosh it was on it's way to Wigan!

These will on display in our emporium shortly to ogle and indeed to purchase. All online soon as well.

Collections all OK, deliveries coming into us OK. Still cold but rain/sleet today instead of snow!

Tuesday & Wednesday 12/13th January
Collections all OK, deliveries coming into us OK. Snow and very cold and slippy under foot today.

Monday 11th January
All collections OK today. Lots of deliveries. Roads better - slight thaw, some sludge.
New Odyssey stuff: Quadrant rims, JCPC's, Banton 2 grips, Burlington sprockets, Twisted PC's in Root Beer/Ocean Blue/Sea Foam.

Saturday 9th January
Open as normal, roads clear in town, carparks open.

All collections went ahead yesterday, although cold overnight it's no worse here.
RM & PF collections scheduled today as normal.
Should get lots of deliveries today including Fly & Proper.

UPDATE: All collections made today.
Colony delivered and all orders being processed and being despatched Monday.

Thursday 7th January
It's now frozen badly and conditions are the worst yet. We are HOPING there will be a Parcel Force collection today and Royal Mail say they will collect.
UPDATE: We had a Parcel Force (as well as Roal Mail) collection today! Will keep posting as long as the weather is bad so you know what's going on. Remember all Web orders do get an email to let you know when they've been despatched.

Wednesday 6th January
Didn't freeze as expected and we had a normal Roal Mail collection but no Parcel Force (the local depot is Liverpool).

Tuesday 5th January
Buses were cancelled but 3 of us made it in to work, I had to walk 3 miles each way but made it in. There was no Parcel Force collection but we took the post bags to the Royal Mail sorting office for despatch.

Like most of the UK we have had deep snow and now seb-zero temperatures. We will make updates here daily. The shop is open as normal if you can make it in to Wigan - the main roads are gritted and the carpark to the rear of the shop is open.

Regarding mailorder please bear with us during this difficult time, we are doing our utmost to process and despatch orders no matter what. Even when collections are made from us there will inevitably be a delay in delivery at your end due to the backlog and road conditions.

Also our suppliers - many who were closed until 4th Jan - now have a backlog of orders and skeleton staff to process these, this in turn along with the bad roads mean supplies getting to us will be delayed.

Our large COLONY shipment - due at Xmas - is now promised to us for this Friday 8th January.
